British government receive complaints

The British government has made a TV ad about the climate problem that human kind is facing right now. The video is supposed to remind and make people realise that the climate changes isn’t just going to affect us but also our children and in turn our grandchildren. But this TV ad hasn’t only received good criticism, over 200 persons have complained at it.

The most common complaints is about the unsuitability for young children watching this video, but there is also some who claims that there are no scientific proofs regarding that CO2 are making damage to the atmosphere and in turn the earth . According to me, the last argument is a perfect example of the weight of these complaints. I mean, there is tons of researching about the environment and it does exist facts that strengthen the bad effect of CO2 on the earth.

Everyone has probably heard of the climate changes several of times, it’s easy to unconsciously start ignoring the danger of the following climate changes. The British government has truly calculated with this, and therefore made a TV ad which will make people think of the problem in another angle. Firstly, the video address two different generations who talks to one another in an everyday situation. This will make it easier to realise as mentioned above, the fact that it will affect our future generations. And second, it’s the grownups responsibility to set with a good example and raise their children to good environmentally conscious citizens.

To end with I will say that it’s just a smart move from the government to use this kind of TV ad that’s makes people react. And of course, there is always somebody who gets teased about new thinking generally and not just in the advertising business. And I mean, if we are suppose to protect our children from “inappropriate” TV advertising, what is going to protect them from future nature catastrophes if today’s grownups won’t act properly regarding the environment issue soon.

  1. Bra!
Ditt språk är här relativt "tidningsformellt". Du framför bra synpunkter och argument. Jobba vidare med grammatiken när det gäller singular/plural is/are, tell/tells etc.
